After being named Stylemaker of the Year by the Accessories Council last year, American rapper Kanye West has remained a dedicated icon on the fashion scene since his arrival to the hip-hop culture, and it doesn't appear he's going anywhere fast.
Despite trying to attend many major fall/winter 2011 fashion shows this year and subsequently rejected. We all know West is no stranger to fashion: he's interned at Fendi, collaborated with Louis Vuitton for a shoeline, and with French graphic design team M/M for his limited edition collection of silk scarves.
But now it seems Kanye West is taking his fashion motives one step further to prove he's dead serious about the industry. The rapper obviously takes fashion seriously I mean, he performed in surprise that he's working on a collection in Paris, according to UK telegraph West has reportedly taken up residence in Paris and will show a collection for spring 2012 in a presentation style format this coming September.

James Franco shoots Agyness Deyn for Elle magazine
It is a match made in James Dean heaven - James Franco and Agyness Deyn have collaborated on a photo shoot for the July issue of US Elle magazine. Franco, who adds photographer to his growing CV, shot Deyn, Imogen Poots and Natalia Bonifacci for the feature called 'Chateau Dreams'.
The images accompany a story which looks at Franco's latest project - an examination of James Dean's film Rebel Without A Cause and the impact it had on the American culture. It makes sense that he then chose LA's iconic Chateau Marmont as the backdrop for his shoot - the hotel was where Rebel director, Nicholas Ray, lived while creating the film. Franco also portrayed Dean in a biopic for TNT back in 2001, his performance earned him a Golden Globe.

Back to Deyn, who makes the ideal female version of Dean, the model has recently returned to her old modelling agency Select Model Management. According to Vogue, Select first signed Aggy in 2002 when she was a relatively unknown face.
"We're delighted that Agyness is back under our guidance," said agency director, Chrissie Castagnetti. "There are not enough British models showcased in fashion right now and whilst we're proud of all our girls, we have always had a passion for home grown talent and Agyness epitomises that. It's great to be working with her again."
"Select were the agency who launched my career and I feel in very safe hands with them," Deyn added. "It feels right to be here - it's like coming home."
